The camera was hooked to our tv, so our son could watch the progression of mom building nest, sitting on eggs, eggs hatching, mom feeding babies, babies flying out of nest. Such a great adventure for my lil’ guy. When I saw that one had hatched, I captured this photo quickly.

Oh my gosh…the desperation! They are soooo vulnerable it’s almost heartbreaking!
